Welcome elves, witches, wizards, orcs, pirates, vampires, and all manner of beings! All are welcome to Virginia’s newest Fantasy Faire at the Wayside Inn 1797!
About VAFF
This is the First Annual VA Fantasy Faire of many!
It will be hosted at the historic Wayside Inn & Larrick’s Tavern! Behind this beautiful Inn is more than enough space for an outdoor event like the VA Fantasy Festival! The back field is surrounded by woodlands of historic Middletown, Virginia. You will feel like you have traveled to a fantasy universe with the rustic look of the Wayside and nature at our borders. Come inside for a Pint of Meade and walk the fairgrounds with your roasted turkey leg in hand (or paw/claws/etc).

Are ye, sorry… are you interested in being a vendor at the VA Fantasy Faire? We are looking for artists, musicians, crafters, performers, psychic entertainers, and more!
Hear Ye! We have a few (very few) Free Spots available. If we like what we read, we will consider you for a free spot.
We have lots of space available at 10′ x 10′ increments. You must provide your own tent or structure. The price is $200 per spot for both days. Extra space is $100 (for example, two spots is $300 for the whole weekend). You must be prepared to work both days. Please arrive early to setup for the 10:00 a.m. opening.
We have very limited spots for paid performers. We will have “passing the hat” openings once the paid spots are full. If you are willing to perform for “passing the hat“, we will of course wave registration and provide a performance area.
